About the mosaics

A good quality 6" x 4" photograph (as a JPEG (.jpg/.jpeg) in landscape format) is all that is required. You decide when you set up your appeal how many tiles you are going to have in your mosaic, and what price you are going to set for them. The site also contains a number of features, which help to give the donor some recognition for their contribution. Each donor is able to add a message or dedication and these appear when a visitor to the site 'rolls-over' the tile. The donors details and dedication are played continuously on the front page of the mosaic. Commercial sponsors are able to add a message and create a link to their website, improving their search engine visibility.

On your mosaic appeal web page your donors may view the mosaic, read all about the appeal, see who else is sponsoring tiles, and most importantly: buy a tile or tiles themselves, paying with a credit or debit card or by sending in a cheque.

You will be able to download sponsors’ names, details and dedications and these can be played independently of the website on a static or rolling display or integrated into your own donor database.
